Gorgeous. Popular. Perfect. Perfectly wrong. Tally has finally become pretty. Now her looks are beyond perfect, her clothes are awesome, her boyfriend is totally hot, and she's completely popular. It's everything she's ever wanted. But beneath all the fun--the nonstop parties, the high-tech luxury, the total freedom--is a nagging sense that something's wrong. Something important. Then a message from Tally's ugly past arrives. Reading it, Tally remembers what's wrong with pretty life, and the fun stops cold. Now she has to choose between fighting to forget what she knows and fighting for her life--because the authorities don't intend to let anyone with this information survive.

Pretties was even better than the first! This is an amazing story that just keeps getting better and better!

Tally finally got what she wanted, to be pretty. In the begging it seems as though her life is perfect. I was afraid that she had forgotten about David and the Smoke. Tally's character goes not change when she becomes pretty. Sure she now using words like "bubbly" and "bogus", but she is still the mischievous character that I grew to love!

Tally's new love, Zane, is a character you can't help but fall in love with! Altho I really wanted her to be with David, and he kind of gets in the way....

The plot was a little slow in some parts, but when the climax came it was over before it all set in. The beginning was great! Then you slide into the slow waiting period.

The ending will drive you nuts! It just ends.... and its a major cliffhanger! I would go out and get the third book right now, but I'm sick and stuck in bed.... Darn illness! Guess I'm just going to have to get a book of my shelf. I think 'Nightshade' is calling my name! :)

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
