I wish I lived in Lisa Mantchev's magically written world! A debut novel that will have you begging for more!

I was hesitant to buy this book at first. One reason was I am not a big fan of the theater. But I am sure glad I did! I completely fell in love with the cast of 'Eyes Like Stars'. Bertie is a strong and self dependent girl who has issues following orders. She has a fascination with hair dye. (As you can tell from the cover.) Bertie is a heroine who won't disappoint! You’ll love her rebel attitude.

Through the whole novel I was rooting for Nate, but towards the end I started to like Ariel. Nate is the good, pirate friend. Then Ariel is the pain in the butt air spirit. I don’t know how many times I have said this but: I love a good love triangle! And who could forget about Bertie's trust faeries: Cobweb, Moth, Mustardseed, and Peaseblossom! These four little faeries add comical relief to this novel. You laugh at their witty remarks, and funny little actions.

The cover is beautiful! I love it. I wish I had blue hair. You’ll like this book even if you can’t stand Shakespeare, or the theater! The second book to this series is "Perchance To Dream". And I cannot wait to devour it!
