Heaven-sent?
Ellie was never particularly good at talking to boys—or anyone other than her best friend and fellow outcast, Ruth. Then she met Michael.
Michael is handsome, charming, sweet. And totally into Ellie. It’s no wonder she is instantly drawn to him. But Michael has a secret. And he knows Ellie is hiding something, too. They’ve both discovered they have powers beyond their imagining. Powers that are otherworldly.
Ellie and Michael are determined to uncover what they are, and how they got this way . . . together. But the truth has repercussions neither could have imagined. Soon they find themselves center stage in an ancient conflict that threatens to destroy everything they love. And it is no longer clear whether Ellie and Michael will choose the same side.
In this electrifying novel, Heather Terrell spins a gripping supernatural tale about true love, destiny, and the battle of good versus evil.
The cover. Just look at it! This is what first drew me into this book. Then I read the synopsis, and I thought it sounded pretty interesting. But I was slightly disappointed.

The characters are unique. I liked Ellie. And I liked Michael. The relationship the two have just instantly combusts! I get why this happened, but then again I felt like I didn't get to know the characters like I would have wanted to. The characters where a little flat. I felt like if they where developed a little further, then I would have liked this novel even more.

I loved the plot. Heather takes you on plenty of twist and turns. This really had a well thought out plot, and the cliff hanger! Ahh it killed me! Good thing I have Eternity on my shelf already. (And might I add it's cover is just as pretty!)

I also loved how Heather included religion, and old readings in her story. The only other book that does this, that I have read, is The Dark Divine. I love the mention of religion. I you didn't know I am Catholic, and the stuff mentioned in Fallen Angel interests me.

As I have said before I absolutely love the cover! Now if only it was in Hardback...Hmm.

Overall this book was enjoyable. It was fast-paced and full of action toward the end. I warn you about the cliff-hanger! Make sure you have a way to get Eternity quick! Because you will most likely want to read it right after Fallen  Angel. :D

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
