Rule #3: Don't stare at invisible faeries.
Rule #2: Don't speak to invisible faeries.
Rule #1: Don't ever attract their attention.
Aislinn has always seen faeries. Powerful and dangerous, they walk hidden in mortal world. When the rules that have kept Aislinn safe from then stop working, everything is suddenly on the line: her freedom, her best friend, Seth; her life, everything.
Faery intrigue, mortal love, and the clash of ancient rules and modern expectations swirl together in Melissa Marr’s stunning 21st century faery tale.

Another fairy book that I have grown to love!

I personally loved this book. I loved the setting, the characters, and so much more.

Aislinn, aka Ash, ( Every time someone in this novel called her that I kept think back to the Ash in the Iron Fey Series.) has a special gift that no one knows about, except her grandmother. She can see faeries! In order to live a almost normal life Ash has to follow rules. And as she soon finds out these rules can change. And when they do it will turn her world upside down. I liked Ashes character; she was the brave heroine of the story.

Keenan, the summer king, is one of the faeries that changed the rules for Ash. He approaches her in his human form. But why? And Seth! He was one of my favorite characters, along with Donia. Seth is the kind of guy every girl wants. And to make me like him even more he has a lip piercing! The only flaw I noticed in Seth, was he was too forgiving, and so patient. He seemed almost to perfect. I felt so sorry for Donia throughout the whole book. She gave up everything to be with Keenan. But when she isn't the one, she has to stand by and watch him court several other girls.

You won't be able to put this book down! I cannot wait to get my hands on the second book, Ink Exchange.

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
