Today we have a special  guest visiting my blog! A while ago I read and like Heather Terell's Fallen Angel. My review can be found HERE. I really liked the novel and I liked the character Michael. Today Michael is going to be answering some of my questions! Thanks to the ladies of The Teen Book Sceen!

When you first found out you were different what did you do or think?

When I first learned that I could fly and that blood had a powerful hold over me, I tried to deny it.  I didn’t want to be different.  Then, I began to explore my powers and accept them, a little.  Only when I learned my true nature – that I was a half-angel, half human creature called a Nephilim and that I had an important role to play in mankind’s future – did I truly embrace my differences.

What was your first impression of Ellie?

After several years, I saw Ellie again on the first day of school at Tillinghast High School.  She was walking down the hallway towards me, although she hadn’t noticed me yet.  With her black hair and amazing eyes, anyone could see that she’s really pretty.  But, I could see a slight golden shimmer around her that no one else could see – almost like a halo, to use a corny word – and she looked radiant.  I was drawn to her immediately.
Aw! Sometimes corny is okay! :)

Do you think you could ever live a normal life with Ellie?

I’d like to think that Ellie and I could lead a normal life, one day.  Maybe when we’ve done all the work we’re destined to do, we’ll be able to kick back and go on walks and head out to the movies like regular kids.  We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for us.  For all of us.

You don't like Pride and Prejudice, but do you have any other classics that you love?

Well, I’ve gotten really into the Bible lately, as a way of figuring out more about myself and my history.  Does that count as a classic?

And last but not least. A question for all us girls. Are you a boxers or briefs kind of guy?

Boxers.  But I bet Ellie won’t be happy that I told you.

Thanks for doing the interview Michael! Definitely give this series a read!

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
