What if the characters in a vampire novel left their world--and came into yours?
Amy is in love with someone who doesn't exist: Alexander Banks, the dashing hero in a popular series of vampire novels. Then one night, Amy meets a boy who bears an eerie resemblance to Alexander. In fact, he IS Alexander, who has escaped from the pages of the book and is in hot pursuit of a wicked vampire named Vigo. Together, Amy and Alexander set out to track Vigo and learn how and why Alexander crossed over. But when she and Alexander begin to fall for each other, Amy wonders if she even wants him to ever return to the realm of fiction.

I was instantly in love with this book! The characters, the attitude, just everything! I soon as I picked it up it never left my hand.

What first caught my eye was the cover. It is really beautiful! It's dark. It also gets you wondering who is the very dark guy wondering the street, and why is the girl hiding behind the wall? So anyways the cover instantly caught my eye!

The main character, Amy was a character I liked within the first five pages! She is a lot like me. Standing in line to get a book. Yea, just like me! :D She was really a great character. I would love to have her as a best friend! Alexander was a hot, brooding, fictional character comes to life in Amy's world. I loved him! I always get weak in the knees for hot brooding guys. Alexander was great in many ways. I really wish some of my favorite male characters would come to life! Amy's sister bothered me in the beginning. Some of her action's made me really mad, but she is a sister..

There was just enough humor, violence, and mystery for me! This book had it all! I was laughing on minute with Amy and her friends then biting my nails in suspense the next!

One thing that has stuck with me is the mention of Shepherds Pie. This is a delicious food medley!  The first time I had one was in Florida on vacation, at McGware's. I loved it! I just thought it was funny that it was mentioned in the book.

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
