Sarah Burke is just about perfect. She's got killer blue eyes, gorgeous blond hair, and impeccable grades. There's just one tiny-all right, enormous-flaw: her nose. But even that's not so bad. Sarah's got the best best friend and big goals for print journalism fame.

On the first day of senior year, Rock Conway walks into her journalism class and, well, rocks her world. Problem is, her best friend, Kristen, falls for him too. And when Rock and Kristen stand together, it's like Barbie and Ken come to life. So when Kristen begs Sarah to help her nab Rock, Sarah does the only thing a best friend can do-she agrees. For someone so smart, what was she thinking?

This hip retelling of Cyrano de Bergerac is filled with hilariously misguided matchmaking, sweet romance, and a gentle reminder that we should all embrace our flaws.

Flawless is the retelling of the famous play Cyrano de Bergerac, which I haven't actually read or seen. I basically know what the play is about. This book was okay, but very predictable. I knew what was going to be the outcome all along.

What first caught my eye with this novel was the cover! It is beautiful. The colors are just amazing!

I thought the characters where a little dull to me. Sarah says how beautiful she is except from her nose, then turns and hates herself. I get that she was feeling a little down on herself, but it was a little much. With that aside I did like her character. She did so much for her friends and her family, maybe even a little to much. She was always putting them first. I really didn't like Sarah's best friend, Kristen. She was so self-centered. I did not see why she was so focused on getting one guy. I mean really sweetheart? I liked Rock... enough. He was an okay guy, if you looks passed his..erhhmm how to put this nicely... stupidity? He really was a great guy. He really did care for Sarah.

The ending was predictable. I didn't mind it, I just thought it was rushed. I wished it could have gone on a few more pages.

Overall this book was good! I enjoyed the characters, well most of them. It sets a good example for teenagers, and how to handle and except your flaws. :D

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
