Grace Divine—daughter of the local pastor—always knew something terrible happened the night Daniel Kalbi disappeared and her brother Jude came home covered in his own blood.

Now that Daniel's returned, Grace must choose between her growing attraction to him and her loyalty to her brother.

As Grace gets closer to Daniel, she learns the truth about that mysterious night and how to save the ones she loves, but it might cost her the one thing she cherishes most: her soul.

Bree Despain has now captured my attention with an amazing debut novel! The Dark Divine was everything I thought it would be and more. This is not just your average werewolf story. Bree Despain has created a whole other way to think about werewolves. And a religious one at that!

Grace is the typical pastor's daughter. Sometimes naive and is overprotected. I really liked her character. Daniel was well... dangerous and brooding and oh so hot! Their, did that get your attention! :)  I liked Pete, but you may flip flop with him. His character changed. The one character I really liked right from the beginning is Don, and I have no idea why! He seems to really care about Grace.

The only reason this isn't five stars is because I think that she relied to much on the bible. I am a christian so it didn't effect me to much, but to some it might be an annoyance.

I didn't mean to wait to long to read this, but I knew that if I read this I would want  to get my hands on the next book in the series. So the next borders I hit I'm getting it!

My Rating:(4.5 Stars)

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
