When Brittany Ellis walks into chemistry class on the first day of senior year, she has no clue that her carefully created “perfect” life is about to unravel before her eyes. She’s forced to be lab partners with Alex Fuentes, a gang member from the other side of town, and he is about to threaten everything she's worked so hard for—her flawless reputation, her relationship with her boyfriend, and the secret that her home life is anything but perfect. Alex is a bad boy and he knows it. So when he makes a bet with his friends to lure Brittany into his life, he thinks nothing of it. But soon Alex realizes Brittany is a real person with real problems, and suddenly the bet he made in arrogance turns into something much more.

After having so many friends recommend this book to me I finally came to my senses and bought it. And I sure am glad I did! All I can say is I'm in love with Simone Elkeles' writing. I just ordered Rules of Attraction the second book in this series, and as soon as I get it I'm going to read it. Now all I have to do is wait for it to get here.....the waiting is going to kill me!

Alex is the guy everyone is terrified of. Brittany was the golden girl. Alex is a gang member, and he has that I don't give a s&!@ attitude. Brittany is the popular blond with everything a girl could want. Alex and Brittany are assinged to be chimistry partners, and they both don't like that!   They despise each other! Both are facing something bigger than high school. Brittany is trying to make everyone believe her life is perfect. And Alex is trying to find out who murdered his father.

When Alex and Brittany are they fight, argue, and just get under each others skin. But as they get closer you will see the sexual tension sky rocket!

This book is more that an amazing romance. It is an eye opener. It showed that if your rich or poor everyone still faces challenges. and that no one is perfect, even if everyone believes they are.

I really loved this book. I wish I could give it a million stars. I totally recommend this book!

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
