For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

Hush, Hush is one of those books that you can't put down. The more you read it the harder it is to stop! Becca Fitzpatrick has put a twist on romance, one that you'll love!

Nora's character is a smart teenager, who would rather study then party on a friday night. Nora reminded me of myself a little. She's smart, but not a know it all. Most of the time i find it hard to relate to characters, but I fit right in with Nora! Patch on the other hand, is someone who if I was every caught dating him I would be shipped to a boot camp! He just screams: BAD BOY!, and DANGER! But will Nora listen to these warning signs?

The plot and the writing were beyond excellent! It  had so many twist and turns thrown in with the romance. There were never any slow or boring parts. This book was beautifully written, it seemed almost effortless to Fitzpatrick!

  1. Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed this book so much. I recently bought this but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet (I'm sure you know how that is. haha). So many people I've read reviews from swoon over Patch, so I just may have to read this book next. :)

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
