Zara White suspects a freaky guy is semi-stalking her. She memorizes phobias and chants them when she's nervous. And, okay, she hasn't exactly been herself since her stepfather died. But moving to a shivery Maine town to stay with her grandmother is supposed to be the perfect fix- so her mom says. Except, this new plan os getting away to help Zara stay sane? Yeah, not working. Turns out the semi-stalker is not a fragment of Zara's imagination. He's still fallowing her, leaving behind an eire trail of gold dust. There's something not right- not human- in this sleepy, Main town, and all the signs are pointing to Zara.
Carrie Jones out did herself with this one. Yes, it does have fictional characters like pixies and werewolves, but it is nothing like Twilight!
Zara is a strong wielded teen who chants phobias. You'll love her character. She's determined, and a little bit fire-y. And you will be rooting for her the whole book! Nick is the all American boy! You won't be able to quite thinking about him.
You will be shocked by the outcome! That's all I'm going to say. :)
I love the cover! The gold glitter lips are PERFECT! And the trees at the bottom give it a spooky feel.

I actually just read the first page and wanted to keep going! Although I promised to finish the two books I'm reading before I start another one, it was so hard! I know I JUST said I'd read Hush, Hush next but I may have to read this too.
