2011 My(reads)da favorites: ya boys

2011edit.jpg

Back again with the "2011 Favorite" feature! This time though it's going to be all about boys. :) These are Boys that I fell in love with when I read the book they were in this year. So any boy is eligible. hehe sounds like I'm running a dating service! Anywhoo.. on to the list! (They are listed in no particular order.)
I am going to have two list of these literary hunks. One is for the bad boys ( so they may not be literally 'bad' but more like bada**)  then the  other is for the good guys.

Good Guys
Perry form Under the Never Sky (He could go in both..)
Luke from The Queen of Kentucky
Win from All These Things I've Done
Nate from So SIlver Bright
Devin from A Beautiful Dark
Chen Yong from Silver Phoenix

Bad Boys :)
Akiva from The Daughter of Smoke and Bone
Will from Angelfire
Cas from Anna Dressed in Blood
John from Abandon
Ariel from So Silver Bright
Ash from The Iron Queen
Asher from A Beautiful Dark
Jax from The Mephisto Covenant
Alexander form The Vampire Stalker

It was kind of hard remembering every book I read then the male characters... so I may have forgotten a few.. Whops!

WHO would be on your list?

  2. Lol I love that you have Jax on here. For a second I stopped and wondered if he was a bad guy then I remember he is basically a son of hell!

I love some of the guys you have on here and many of them I do not know about because I haven't read the books they are in. I guess I have a lot of reading I need to do.

  3. Great list. I'm actually planning on doing a blog hop about the hottest boys in YA. It will be sometime in February. Keep in eye out. I'm giving away a Kindle Fire!

Recent Reviews

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
