Bridget Duke is the uncontested ruler of her school. The meanest girl with the biggest secret insecurities. And when new girl Anna Judge arrives, things start to fall apart for Bridget: friends don't worship as attentively, teachers don't fall for her wide-eyed "who me?" look, expulsion looms ahead and the one boy she's always loved—Liam Ward—can barely even look at her anymore.
When a desperate Bridget drives too fast and crashes her car, she ends up in limbo, facing everyone she's wronged and walking a few uncomfortable miles in their shoes. Now she has only one chance to make a last impression. Though she might end up dead, she has one last shot at redemption and the chance to right the wrongs she's inflicted on the people who mean the most to her.
And Bridget's about to learn that, sometimes, saying you're sorry just isn't enough….

I really have no idea how to write a review for this book. I didn't love it, thats for sure, but I didn't absolutely hate it. For some reason I couldn't get in to the book. I couldn't relate to the characters. It just was not the book for me.

Bridget, the main character, is just plain ol' mean and nasty. I really did not like her character. I can promise you that as I was reading this book I because a mean and grouchy person. It really bugged me! I could not stand her character! Yes, in the end Bridget was the way she was for a reason, but still I could not stand her.

I felt like the setting of where Bridget was wasn't explained. She is introduced to the problem, and is like okay now what? I know it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But if you read the book it will!

Paige is an amazing writer! Some how her writing got me through that hate filled book. I really did love her writing style. It keeps the story moving along nicely.

At the end the book does get a lot better! If you can stick through 3/4 of it your have made it passed the hard stage! The novel does take a turn, but it was predictable to me.

I do love the cover though!

Revealing Eden by Victoria Foyt

When I read Dystopian books, I either love them or hate them. Most of the time I just can not connect with the characters, and sometimes it's the setting. But with Revealing Eden I was completely captivated with the world Victoria created.

Steel by Carrie Vaughn

Time travel and pirates. These are two words that I love to hear! I have always love time travel, and pirates have always interested me. So finding this book was like finding a buried treasure! ( why yes, that was super cheesy, but I couldn't resist!) In fact a book I am writing now has to do with time travel. :D hehe!

The Queen of Kentucky by Alecia Witaker

The Queen of Kentucky is a book that I, as a Kentucky native myself, could relate to. Being able to relate to the characters and the surroundings really made me enjoy this book. The Queen of Kentucky is one of those books that has such a great message.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

As soon as I got this book I tore into it! I could not wait to read it! And once I started Under the Never Sky it never let my hand. :) This is by far one of my favorite dystopian novels that I have read this year! Veronica really surprised me with her debut! Think of Under the Never Sky as awesome as Angelfire, and if you know me at all then you know that this novel blew my socks off! it!
